About Tsundi Lake
Tsundi Lake is a small, picturesque lake situated in the Mtkvari river gorge, very close to the famous Vardzia cave monastery. It is surrounded by reeds and is easily visible from the main road.
Fishing Tips
- Casual Fishing: This is an excellent spot for casual float fishing. The lake holds a large population of small to medium crucian carp that are generally eager to bite.
- Bait: Bread, sweetcorn, and worms all work very well here.
Access
Access could not be easier, as the lake sits right next to the paved road leading to Vardzia. You can literally park your car a few meters from the waterβs edge.
